The Order of the Liberation is France's second national Order after the Legion of Honor, and was instituted by General De Gaulle on November 16th, 1940.

The website is divided into two parts: The history of the Order of the Liberation and the Museum. The two parts are managed in exactly the same way with a CMS designed especially for the needs with Symfony. The entire menu and content could be modified from the protected backoffice.

The website works on any support and adapts to the screen size to provide the best possible browsing experience. The contents of the old site (static HTML) was taken, cleaned and automatically reinserted in the new site, keeping a URL redirections.

The administration also manages physical kiosks present in the museum; these terminals are using private URLs and cache all of their content to work without internet connection. Some terminals directly show public website content after cleaning visual aspects and external links.
